victoria station: spent several hours here damp and cold, irritated that i’d dropped 40 goddamn pounds on the goddamn ground and the bank machines weren’t letting me get any more out. it was dicey as to whether or not i’d be able to afford the train ticket to the airport, but made it with less than a pound to spare.
gatwick airport: from here to montreal. my seat was in the emergency exit row and thus i had copious legroom and the facing stewardess’ seat doubled as a convenient footrest. altogether an pleasing flight
